Delete your account
Two ways to delete your Arlo account and the data tied to it. This page exists to meet Google Play and Apple App Store account-deletion requirements.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
Open Arlo → Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm with your passcode or biometrics. Your account and all linked data are queued for deletion immediately.

No longer have the app installed, or can't sign in? Email privacy@arlohealth.app from the address you signed up with. We'll verify ownership and process the request within 7 business days.

When your request is processed, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account profile — name, email, phone, date of birth, timezone.
- Your stated profile — goals, schedule, diet, food preferences, lifestyle, sleep patterns, movement baseline.
- Conditional sub-profiles — skin, gut, or hair coaching data you opted into.
- Your medical profile — allergies, conditions, medications, and supplements.
- Health data synced from Apple Health or Health Connect — steps, heart rate, workouts, sleep stages, body measurements, glucose, and similar metrics.
- All conversation data — messages, voice notes, and follow-up call transcripts with Arlo.
- Device information tied to your account.
What may be retained
A small set of records may be kept beyond deletion, only where required:
- Billing & tax records — invoices and transaction records, retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
- Legal & compliance records — information we are obligated to retain to comply with valid legal process, regulatory requirements, or to defend legal claims.
- Aggregated, anonymized statistics — usage data stripped of any identifier so it can no longer be linked back to you.
These retained records are kept under stricter access controls and are never used for marketing, model training, or profiling.
Timeline
In-app requests are queued immediately. Email requests are verified and queued within 7 business days. Once queued, all deletable data is removed from production systems within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within 90 days as they roll over.
Verification
For email requests, we'll send a confirmation link to the address on file. This prevents anyone else from deleting your account on your behalf. You can cancel the request before it's processed by replying to that email.
Want less than a full deletion?
You don't have to delete everything to regain control. From Settings in Arlo you can also disconnect Apple Health or Health Connect (and remove the historical data from those sources), turn off voice calls, mute specific notification categories, or export a copy of your data.
